Maya Jama says her breasts are a gift from God after she 'prayed to grow tits'

Maya Jama says her prayers were answered and she was rewarded with larger breasts when she turned to God for a boost to her bust.

The 25-year-old television presenter has been defending her figure in recent weeks after trolls targeted her over her low cut clothing while hosting Peter Crouch’s Save Our Summer TV show.

She hit out at critics on Twitter last month after some viewers of the Prime Time Saturday night show accused her of making them feel “awkward” due to her fashion choice.

But during a discussion on the TTYA Talks podcast, the star explained that she wasn’t always so blessed in the bust department – and asked God for bigger breasts when she was a teen at school.

She explained: “I used to pray, ‘Can I grow tits?’ and I grew them.

“So I thought, ‘Oh my gosh — he’s listening’.”

In a candid discussion, the doe eyed beauty explained how she scraped money together as a student, and is now thrilled to be enjoying the rewards of her TV presenting success.

She said: “I was bumping trains. I used to get super dressed up and be like, ‘Oh my God, I’ve forgotten my Oyster’ and blag my way through the train station.

The TV presenter has been reflecting on her earlier years

“I used to wear outfits and then take them back. I did all the tricks to make it appear like I had money.

“I had nothing so I was more determined to make it.

“Now I’ve just moved into my house. I’m the first person in my immediate family to own a house.

“I’m proud of myself for buying a house in London, which seems like an impossible task.”

Maya has carved out an impressive career as a TV and radio host

Bristol born Maya has carved an impressive CV since making her presenting debut back in 2014.

She has held hosting roles at the MOBO Awards, EE BAFTA awards, Loose Women – and also enjoyed success as a BBC Radio 1 presenter.

She quit her radio show earlier this year to pursue an acting career – but her debut project has been put on hold by the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
