Works wonders: There is a lavender pillow spray by This Works that really helps you drift off. But it will set you back £19.50. Enter Bloom & Blossom’s BFG dream catcher’s pillow spray from Boots. It’s for children and adults and is currently on sale for £3.33 online, down from £5.

Sweet dreams: After a bath, using the right scent can do wonders for pleasant dreams. Lots of people like the Sleepy body lotion by Lush. But at £9 for 95g, I suggest Johnson’s bedtime cream instead at £2.50.

Tea time: I rate herbal teas to help me get some shut-eye, and a cuppa before bed works a treat. My favourite is Dr Stuart’s valerian plus tea bags, £2.49 for 15, and Pukka’s sleepy version is good too. But Asda now sells Clipper’s organic sleep easy infusion — and at £1.48 for 20 bags, it’s a great swap.
