Maurizio Sarri stormed out of Chelsea’s final training session before Wednesday’s Europa League final against Arsenal after an argument between Gonzalo Higuain and David Luiz.

The Italian was leading a short session on the eve of tomorrow’s game when an angry Luiz confronted Higuain over the Argentine’s tackle in a small keep-ball exercise.

The Brazilian appeared to be unhappy with the tenacity of Higuain’s challenge given the final is just 24 hours away and the pair were caught bickering by BT Sport’s cameras.

Captain Cezar Azpilicueta cooled tensions by separating the duo but that did little to calm Sarri, who threw his cap on the ground and stormed out of the session.

Sarri then kicked the cap into the air and was mouthing to himself under his breath.

The Italian retrieved his cap before launching it onto the ground for a second time in scenes that will concern Chelsea fans before tomorrow’s final.

Chelsea’s League Cup final defeat to Manchester City earlier this season was overshadowed by a fiery exchange between Sarri and Kepa during extra-time when the goalkeeper refused to leave the field.

Earlier this week Higuain exploded into an angry rant at Sarri’s backroom staff during a training session at the club’s Cobham base.

The Argentine booted a ball away in frustration as the squad prepared for their clash against Arsenal.

The bad news didn’t stop there for Sarri as midfielder N’Golo Kante managed just 25 minutes of the session.

The Frenchman was rated as ’50-50′ to make tomorrow’s final in a press conference before the training session but Kante was unable to participate in the main group and is a major doubt to feature.
