Maura Higgins fuels Winter Love Island role rumours with racy topless exposé


Maura Higgins has fuelled more speculation that she’s set to replace Caroline Flack as host of Winter Love Island.

The Irish beauty, 29, has taken to Instagram to share a topless snap wearing just a black thong on top of a sunny mountain.

Failing to reveal her location, Maura flashed the flesh to the rest of the world holding her bra in the air standing on the edge on an infinity pool.

Curtis Pritchard ‘s girlfriend penned alongside the snap “Do one winter” which is the tagline for the new series of the ITV2 dating show.

The cryptic caption teases she could be set to star on the latest series of Love Island just days after current host Caroline was charged with assault.

Unsurprisingly, fans rushed to comment underneath Maura’s saucy snap convinced she’s out in South Africa filming for the reality tv show.

One said: “Is this a hint?”

Another added: “If you are replacing Caroline, it will be so good. I so hope you’re good at presenting.”

The model recently posted a snap of herself on a private leaving fans wondering if she’s off to South Africa

A third penned:”Winter Love Island host?”

Maura’s latest post even caught the eye of her famous pals.

Former islander Chris Taylor commented: “I hope this means what I think it means.”

Love Island star Rachel Ward added: “Yes please”.

Maura’s Dancing On Ice co-star Trisha Goddard penned: “Wearing so litter, at last you won’t get to chilly not the you’re out in the sunshine” with laughing emojis.”

The former islanders’ latest post comes 24 hours after she posted a snap of herself on board a private jet with the caption: “Off to the sun to shoot something very exciting.”

Current presenter Caroline, 40, was charged with assault following an alleged bust-up with her boyfriend Lewis Burton this week.

The drama forced ITV executives into crisis talks yesterday, as Caroline was due to begin filming Winter Love Island in South Africa early next month.

Maura is set to take part in the latest series of Dancing On Ice which launches in January

It is now unclear if she will be in a position to host it so bosses have been discussing contingency plans.

ITV has so far refused to comment on whether Caroline will return to front the new series of Winter Love Island.

Maura is currently scheduled to appear on the new series Dancing On Ice in January, but will she be swapping the ice for the Love Island villa?
