Alex Jones, 45, gave birth to her second child, Kit, with husband Charlie Thomson, back in May, and the couple are also parents to two-year-old Teddy.
The Welsh presenter is still on maternity leave, and her absence is certainly being noticed by her The One Show co-host, Matt Baker.
Matt, who has only just recently activated his very own Instagram account, shared a picture of Alex to his page.
The host uploaded a snap of what pops up when Alex calls his mobile phone, which shows her beaming away whilst wearing a helmet and black leather coat.
Matt wrote on the image: “This is what I see when @alexjonesthomson rings me.”
He added: “#missingyou.”
Alex appeared to feel the same away as she re-posted his photo to her own Instagram account.
The BBC favourite has been replaced by many guest presenters on the show, including Stacey Dooley, Emma Willis, Angela Scanlon and Angellica Bell.
Meanwhile, Alex returned to work for the first time since giving birth to Kit, as she co-hosted Proms in the Park 2019 in Swansea earlier this month.
The star shared an image of herself all dressed up for the occasion, wearing an exquisite champagne ball gown.
Alex beamed away in the image, as she showed off her incredible figure in the floor-length number.
All glammed up for the event, Alex’s brunette locks cascaded down to her shoulders as she wore plenty of bronzed make-up.
Following the Proms, she captioned the Instagram post: “Thank you to everyone who came to @bbccymruwales proms in the park last night and to everyone who watched and listened live at home.
“It was a magical night of music in Singleton park, a beautiful setting that I always love to go home too.”
Alex appeared to enjoy swapping her comfy clothes for a stunning dress for the evening as she credited her glam team.
“It was nice to get all dressed up again and be reunited with my girls @tesswrightstylist who borrowed the perfect dress from @suzanneneville and @lizbeckettmua who painted me,” the star continued.
“Today I’m back in jeans and jumper and normal duties have resumed but it was nice to dip my toe back in.”
Meanwhile, Alex has been able to keep up with Matt through his new Instagram account, which he only just created.
Matt has been sharing images from his farm, showing off a range of different animals and his cute dogs.
