Matt Agnew doesn't look this anymore! Geeky Bachelor ditches his smart hair and signature specs

Matt Agnew rose to fame as the geeky yet handsome astrophysicist on The Bachelor back in 2019.

And after keeping a rather low profile throughout 2020, the reality star thrilled fans on Friday when he debuted his hunky new look.

Matt, 32, shared a picture of himself spending New Year’s Day at the beach with his dog, and he looked hardly recognisable with a long dark hair and a buff physique.

Matt, who chose chemical engineer Chelsie McLeod as his winner on The Bachelor only to break up with her six months later, has ditched his signature glasses and short locks in favour of a more untamed look.

‘It’s been a tough year, and while there’ll likely be more challenges ahead it’s important to remember we’ve made it through every bad day,’ Matt wrote.

‘Let’s keep going. Happy New Year from me and Pluto x.’

‘Looking hot!’ He looked hardly recognisable with a long dark hair and a buff physique, and his Instagram followers were very impressed 

Matt’s followers were quick to comment on the post, with many mentioning how good he’s looking these days.

‘Happy New Year Matt and Pluto,’ one follower wrote. ‘Both looking hot.’

Another said the data scientist was ‘gorgeous’.

Matt rose to fame on The Bachelor in 2019 and chose Chelsie as his winner. 

But the pair shocked fans when they announced their split in November that year, just six months after filming the season finale. 

Matt told his social media followers at the time: ‘Our relationship hasn’t translated from filming to the real, everyday world as we had hoped.’

He hasn’t publicly dated anyone since the break-up, but Chelsie recently went public with model boyfriend Ricki Dehaan.
