Strictly Come Dancing returns to our screens this Saturday on BBC, with a whole new line up of celebrities ready to break out their dancing shoes.
Matilda, better known as Tilly, is the second youngest of celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay’s children, and one of the youngest ever Strictly competitors at just 19 years old.
Tilly said: “I think I’ll take criticism from the judges pretty well.
“I do live with one of the harshest critics in my house, Dad, so I’m pretty used to that kind of stuff.
“Dad will be like, ‘Oh well I thought . . . ’ He’ll give his own criticism. But it’s all about learning and the whole process.
“You need criticism to learn.”
Despite hosting her own TV show on CBBC, Matilda and the Ramsay Bunch, the star did confess to being nervous to take part in the series.
Tilly revealed: “Dad is very excited for me to be taking part.
“I think he has always wanted to learn how to dance but he is just not very good at all. He definitely has two left feet.
“I will try to teach him but I do get slightly frustrated because it takes him a very long time.”
Tilly is used to showing off her dancing moves on TikTok, sometimes even managing to rope her dad into the mix but unfortunately she rates her dance moves a solid two out of ten.
Fans of the show will see if Tilly scored herself correctly when the new season airs Saturday 18 September, and see her go head-to-head with competitors like McFly star Tom Fletcher and Peep Show actor Robert Webb.
