Five of the big six – Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea – were all in action.

Title rivals Liverpool left it even later to win at Aston Villa, having also been 1-0 down for a lengthy period of their game.
Andy Robertson equalised in the 87th minute before Sadio Mane’s 94th-minute winner.

Sheffield United hammered Burnley as defender John Lundstram earned himself a brace, much to the delight of many Fantasy Premier League managers.
And Norwich City’s woes continued as they were beaten by Brighton.
The Canaries sit 19th and without a win in six top-flight outings since beating City.
In the evening kick-off, Chelsea claimed a fifth league win on the bounce to climb up to third, two points behind second-placed City, by beating Watford.

Watford remain the only team in the division yet to win a match, having picked up five points in 11 games and scored just six goals.
