Marvel has gone and fuelled Avengers: Endgame fever by tweeting a thread of almost every post-credits scene and we weren’t prepared.

We repeat: we weren’t prepared.

The studio snuck up on us as we were just going about our day, tweeting: ‘From the end credits to the endgame…’

From there, they tweeted every single post-credits scene from the MCU, right back from Iron Man in 2008 to Captain Marvel just last month, and it has majorly taken us back.

The first scene sees Nick Fury introducing himself to Tony Stark, telling him: ‘I want to talk to you about the Avenger initiative.’

The tension is real through the Thor and Captain America scenes, before we get to the infamous Avengers eating takeout after saving the world moment. As you do.

From Hulk giving Iron Man therapy (or failing to) and Thanos retrieving his gauntlet to the return of Bucky Barnes and the dramatic arrival of Captain Marvel onto the Avengers scene, there’s a lot to take in from the short clips.

Fans weren’t prepared for the sudden trip down memory lane ahead of the release of the conclusion to the 22 films, with one predicting: ‘I’m gonna cry watching this aren’t I?’

Almost certainly.

Another added: ‘WHO DO YOU THINK-‘

Meanwhile, one more emotional fan summed up everyone’s feelings by telling the studio: ‘Thanks for the emotional breakdown.’

With Captain America star Chris Evans describing the upcoming flick as a ‘losing battle’, Endgame fever has been taking over the fandom, and even the actors as Paul Rudd recently interrogated directors Joe and Anthony Russo to find out who dies.

In the very real and not at all staged encounter, the Ant-Man star demanded: ‘I’ll tell you what I want, I wanna know whether I live or die in Endgame.’
