Martin Lewis finally returns to Twitter after month absence with candid post about stress

ITV’s Martin Lewis, 49, has returned to Twitter after a month long media sabbatical, spending quality time with family. He returned with glee and gloom, due to the stress social media generates.

His first post said: “Boo!”

Money saving fans were quick to respond to Martin’s return.

The expert presents the show alongside presenter Angellica Bell, 45, with the show hitting records of three million.

A fan replied: “Great news, don’t mind being ripped off if Angelica can sort it for me.”(sic)

Martin announced he was taking a well deserved break over a month ago.

He said: “Ta-ta for now. I’m about to start a Summer Social Sabbatical.

“I’ll be offline for a few weeks, instead focusing on family, relaxing, exercise, golf, time to think & watching the athletics.”

Users were sad to see him go, but there was nothing to worry about as his colleagues held the fort for him.
