MARTIN KEOWN bizarrely told Jake Humphrey he would “put him away” after the BT Sport host pointed out Arsenal are only at half time of their Napoli tie.
Humphrey sarcastically commented on Keown’s insight before the ex-Gunners star threatened the host live on air.
Keown, 52, had earlier commented that is only half-time of the tie – with Arsenal leading Napoli 2-0 after the Emirates leg – before things kicked-off in the studio.
The former Gunners star said: “It’s very obviously only half-time in the tie…”
Before he could finish, Humphrey interjected: “Great observation, Martin.”
A clearly riled-up Keown hit back, saying: “You trying to put me away, Jake? I’ll put you away.”

Keown was clearly not being serious, as he continued to chat with Humphrey and John Hartson for the rest of the show without any issues.
But the aggressive comment left Twitter users in stitches, with one saying: “Martin Keown sounding like he’s about to audition for Green Street 6…”
Another claimed: “Martin Keown is such a cannon.”
But a third added: “Tbf you wouldn’t mess with Keown.”

Firstly, Aaron Ramsey swept home a flowing team move, before Kalidou Koulibaly scored an own goal moments later.
