Launching this spring, and made by Cactus TV, it will take on Channel 4’s Sunday Brunch, which is hosted by Tim Lovejoy and chef Simon Rimmer and serves up a mix of cookery and celebrity guests.

Speaking at the Brits, sponsored by Mastercard, Roman said: “Dad and I are working on something special, we’re really excited.”

Martin added: “We have such a laugh when we work on something.

“We’re very lucky.”

A source said: “Between them, Roman and Martin know a lot of music stars, young and old, so their show will be red hot.

“But it will be a chilled-out, easy, family affair.”

Colshaw Hall country estate, in Knutsford, Cheshire, is where Bill has been filming with co-stars Malcolm Hebden (Norris Cole), and Rula Lenska (Claudia Colby), whose characters also live there.

The venue comes with a cocktail bar, book club and even fencing lessons.

Speaking recently Bill, who was in the ITV soap’s first episode, said: “We have already started filming at the retirement complex and I am really enjoying it.

“It always feels different when we film away from the street.”

Spencer ditches reality

AFTER appearing in 14 reality TV shows, Spencer Matthews has vowed not to take part in any more.

The posho, who made his name on Made In Chelsea, says he is now focused on being a father, husband to Vogue Williams and entrepreneur.

In an exclusive chat, he said: “I think reality television is a really fun, great genre.

“It held a special place in my life for many years but I feel as though I have grown out of it.”

Spencer, who has linked up with Pringles to launch its new stacking mixing flavour concept, added: “If I thought that doing a bit of television would be a good thing for my business Clean Liquor then I would look at it.

“If it was for my own personal drive to be recognised I would have no interest in it whatsoever.”

AFTER the success of ITV’s The Masked Singer, which allows the audience to guess who is in the costume, the BBC is planning a cooking version.

Rat In The Kitchen, set to star Mary Berry, will see six wannabe chefs prepare a series of dishes, but one of them will try to ruin the meals – and viewers will have to guess who is the rogue chef.

A source said: “Viewers will have to work out if one of the chef’s made a mistake or is trying to win the show by cheating.”

It sounds like a recipe for disaster . . .
