She gave birth to son Rox in October but Marnie Simpson is in a worse place following her traumatic labour.

The reality star lost two pints of blood, had two blood transfusions and has since been suffering from a chronic bladder infection ever since.

Now she says she will look into using a surrogate if she has any more children with pop star boyfriend Casey Johnson.

Marnie, 27, took a long time to recover from the birth and it was a difficult time for the former Geordie Shore star.

‘If we do have more, I’d have a surrogate,’ she told new magazine. ‘I don’t know anything about it so I’d have to do a bit of research. It’s a route that I never thought I’d have to go down.

Her bladder condition was diagnosed in 2016 and Marnie has managed it since 2017. She said it got a lot worse after giving birth.

‘Childbirth is really bad for me because of it [her bladder condition],’ she said. ‘I’ve been in a lot of pain with it and it’s affected my first few weeks with Rox, which I’ve been really down about. I wouldn’t want to risk that again.’

As she recovers, Marnie’s grandmother Betty is staying with her and helping with Rox’s night feeds when Marnie feels too unwell.

Marnie has been dating Casey, 24, since 2017, after they met on celeb dating show Single AF.

In September 2018 they visited a fertility clinic, and Marnie told the Daily Star Sunday: ‘We are thinking about starting a family soon and wanted to make sure we are both able to have kids.

‘I’m just a bit worried all those years getting mortal on Geordie Shore may have done some damage.’
