Marnie Simpson is just weeks away from becoming a mum for the first time, and she is totally glowing.
Keen to record every precious moment, the 27-year-old has shared a naked picture showing off her baby bump, and all we have to say is – Demi Moore, eat your heart out.
The Geordie Shore OGs star posted the beautiful picture while fresh out of the shower, standing next to her bath and in front of a picture of Marilyn Monroe.
Marnie held one arm over her chest to make the pic Instagram safe and left the focus on her huge baby bump.
The star, who is in a relationship with former Stereo Kicks singer Casey Johnson, captioned the pic: ‘It still amazes me how the woman’s body works ☺️ 8 months pregnant & counting down the days until I meet you baby boy.’
Her former Geordie Shore castmate Charlotte Crosby commented: ‘So beautiful’ while Emma McVey – who is expecting her second child with Gaz Beadle – wrote: ‘Ahhhhh ? you’ll be meeting him so soon, so exciting!’
Lauren Goodger also commented: ‘Omggggg ? so excited xx’ while Chloe Ferry left a string of heart emojis.
While Marnie oozed confidence in the nude picture, the Geordie girl has admitted she has struggled with gaining stretch marks and cellulite during her pregnancy.
She wrote on Instagram earlier this month: ‘Can’t believe I’m almost there, pregnancy has been a experience. Watching my body change has been challenging to say the least not going to lie, I’ve started to develop some stretch marks and water retention leaving me with a hell more cellulite than usual, which is daunting but I know it’s going to be so worth it regardless when I see my baby Boy, no pregnancy is perfect, I’ve felt insecure, tired, hormonal and over all crap, social media only sees the ups never the downs!
‘Which is frustrating but I wanna keep it real for all the other mammas out there!!! I’m also suffering with major anxiety daily about the birth and the aftermath, especially with all my previous bladder trouble I’m just so scared of the unknown, I’m so grateful for all the messages I get daily it literally keeps me going and calms me down to know there is so many of us all feeling the same. We got this girlies.’
And the reality star has developed some strange cravings while waiting for her son to arrive – including eating sponges.
She told The Sun: ‘So you know like a sponge that you wash yourself with? I’ve been wanting to chew it. I just put it in my mouth when I’m in the shower – and it’s really warm.
‘I can’t get the flannels and sponges out of my head. I just start chewing it and letting the water roll down my face.’
The Geordie Shore cast has a number of bambinos between them now – Chantelle Connelly welcomed a son, Ricardo, in May, while Gaz is expecting his second child to join one-year-old Chester.
