Marnie Simpson is three months away from welcoming her first baby but being heavily pregnant didn’t stop her stepping out to support her Geordie Shore co-star Charlotte Crosby’s latest fashion launch.
Marnie, 27, joined some of the Geordie Shore family, including Holly Hagan and Sophie Kasaei for the launch party for Charlotte’s latest collection with In The Style.
Marnie, who was joined by her baby’s daddy Casey Johnson, is now six months pregnant – and her bump is getting bigger by the day.
The couple’s baby is due to arrive in the middle of October this year, and they’re both buzzing to know the new little member of their family is going to be a boy.
Marnie’s previously spoken out about her concerns that she may never be able to have children after putting her body through a lot of abuse while on the reality show..
She told OK!: ‘Because I’d done Geordie Shore I’d convinced myself that I couldn’t have kids because of all the alcohol abuse.’
She and Casey even visited a fertility clinic before the pregnancy in order to check everything was ok before they started trying for a baby together.
She also recently revealed her strange pregnancy craving – she likes to chew on bath sponges.
Marnie told The Sun: ‘I’ve been getting these weird cravings. So you know like a sponge that you wash yourself with? I’ve been wanting to chew it.
‘I can’t get the flannels and sponges out of my head. I just start chewing it and letting the water roll down my face.’
She isn’t the only Geordie Shore star with something very exciting to look forward to – Holly also recently got engaged to boyfriend Jacob Blyth, something she thought may never happen for her.
She explained: ‘I was honestly in shock, I believed for such a long time that I didn’t deserve to be loved, But I was so wrong.
‘Jacob is everything I was told I didn’t deserve and more. He’s the most patient, caring and laid back person I’ve ever met.
‘His mental strength is something I’ve never seen in any person on earth, and he’s obviously a f**king 10!!’
‘Thank you for accepting every single part of me, past, present and now future. Thank you for seeing how f**king fabulous I actually am and for telling me every single day.
‘And thank you for making me the happiest girl in the world,’ she added.
‘I didn’t think it was possible to love you anymore than I already did but Jesus this feeling is over whelming!’
She added: ‘I never believed in happy endings but I guess I got mine. I cannot wait to be your wife’.
