Marlon Wayans could not stop talking about how much he loved kissing Jennifer Hudson for their new film The Queen Of Soul.

The Aretha Franklin film has the two sharing a few ‘amazing’ kisses, and Marlon won’t be forgetting about them anytime soon.

Speaking to TMZ, the 47-year-old said: ‘You ever kiss an angel? I did. Amazing.

‘Her breath was amazingly fresh, her lips were like pillows. It felt like I was kissing a cloud and it’s everything that you wish it would be and then some.

‘I don’t want to let her know how good the kiss was but I think I just did, but it was probably up there as the top three kisses in my life.’

Wow and then some, indeed.

If he didn’t want Jennifer to know about how he felt about their onscreen smooch, it’s too late now.

He wasn’t done with the compliments yet.

Of course any film about the queen of soul will involve a lot of phenomenal singing, and Jennifer was the ultimate person to go to.

Marlon continued: ‘That voice. Yo, like that voice? It’s weird. It actually gave me a woody.’

Unusual reaction to a good voice, but hey, we can’t complain.

Pictures of Jennifer transformed into Aretha Franklin shook us all to our core.

The singer was spotted inside an old-fashioned car on location in Manhattan’s Harlem neighbourhood.

Marlon was on set in character as Aretha’s husband Ted White in full costume, wearing a trilby hat and a brown coat.

Jennifer’s costume, a knee length coat and mini dress, made her look very 60s.

The Voice UK judge sported a voluminous beehive hairstyle and big earrings as she filmed the scenes, which appeared to be pretty emotional.

After talking for a while, Aretha and Ted share a quick kiss in the car.

The cameras also rolled as Marlon’s character spoke to some other people in the street, apparently collecting money from some prostitutes…
