Mark Labbett, 54, has admitted he struggled to remember one of his older appearances on The Chase Celebrity Special in a candid Twitter post. The Beast star shared his concerns about “going senile” with his 118,000 followers yesterday after tuning into the ITV show.
He wrote: “Scary, watching an old celeb version of #thechase on itv and I cannot remember anything about it.”
The TV personality added: “Going senile,” alongside a sad face emoji.
However, on closer inspection, Mark realised why he had forgotten the TV moment, as he realised he hadn’t performed very well in the quiz.
He continued in a separate tweet: “Ah that’s why I couldn’t remember it….bit of a stuffing #thechase.”

Mark then added: “Huge thanks to @tobycarvery Aldenham for letting me stuff my face before the NTAs.”
One of the star’s fans wondered whether he had been gifted with the meal as a “freebie” from the restaurant in response.
Mark was quick to clarify that he did pay for the lunch, writing back: “Full price but still lovely.”
Elsewhere, The Chase favourite spoke out about a change he is “wishing” will take place on the ITV gameshow.
