“THEY ARE LIGHTWEIGHTS,” she added.

The Chase fans were highly entertained by the glimpse into the Chasers’ lives off-camera, with one commenting: “Certainly sounds like it!”

“Sinha last person standing,” another predicted, while a third quipped: “Go drink them under the table.”

At the TV Choice Awards, the group put on a stylish display as they ditched their famous The Chase outfits for their glad rags.

Anne opted for a blush pink gown with sequin detailing and a V-neck, accessorising with a metallic clutch bag as she posed for photographers.

She added deep pink eyeshadow and fuchsia lipstick, along with delicate silver earrings to complete the look.

Mark, meanwhile, chose a classic black suit and tie combination.

The Chase was nominated for the Best Daytime Show award, but lost out to This Morning.

Elsewhere, Anne Hegerty recently spoke out after The Chase fans queried why she was “rarely” seen on the ITV quiz show.

One concerned viewer tweeted: “Why isn’t @anne_hegerty rarely on The Chase anymore?

“She’s my favourite and I’ve not seen her on there for a while.”(sic)

However, Anne son explained the real reason for her absence, assuring fans she would be back on screens soon.

She told the Twitter user the episodes airing at the time were “repeats” and said she would be featuring in more new episodes soon.

“You are watching repeats,” she said. “We have a hundred new episodes in the can, and I’ve recorded more of them than any of the others.”

She also promised her increased participation in The Chase wouldn’t mean her appearances on The Chase Australia would diminish at all.

The Chase airs weekdays at 5pm on ITV.
