Marcelo Bielsa orders Leeds to LET Aston Villa score amid heated exchange with John Terry

In a crazy few minutes, Leeds took the lead with a goal that left a bad taste in the mouth.

Jonathan Kodjia went down injured but the home players carried on playing.

It then looked as if they were about to kick the ball out of play causing the Villa players to stop.

Yet the ball was played up the line by Tyler Roberts to Mateusz Klich who buried the chance.

Aston Villa were left furious with Conor Hourihane leading the animated protests.

Anwar El Ghazi was sent off after handbags.

Marcelo Bielsa then ordered his team to let Villa equalise.

Albert Adomah walked the ball from kick off in to make it 1-1.

The Argentine boss was adamant he wanted to let the visitors equalise, but not all of his players agreed with the decision.

Pontus Jansson tried to tackle Adomah who then confronted him once scoring.

John Terry and Dean Smith were understandably furious with Leeds after taking the lead and they challenged the opposite dugout.

Bielsa could be seen shouting “let them score” even though his side were desperate for three points.

The match ended 1-1 meaning Sheffield United are officially promoted to the Premier League.

Dean Smith revealed after the match that a conversation with Bielsa led to the decision, which he credited.

“I asked him and he said ‘I agree yes [they should let them score].’

“Because he was apologising and I said ‘we’ll I think you should let us walk a goal in then’ and he said ‘okay’.

“Fair play to them.”
