Marcel Somerville has announced that he’s to become a dad.
Girlfriend Rebecca Vieira presented him with a handful of pregnancy tests, with Love Island star Marcel telling that he’s been “waiting a long time for this.”
The couple are going strong after 14 months together – but Marcel’s love life hasn’t always been so stable.
He faced and made allegations of cheating following his Love Island stint, during which he made it to the final alongside Gabby Allen.
The pair went official early on in the villa, becoming a couple on day 14, and quickly solidifying their fan favourite status.
On the outside, the couple stuck together for nine months – longer than winners Kem Cetinay and Amber Davies.

But things started to fall apart after Marcel was accused of sleeping with another woman during a Mexico holiday.
And Marcel later confirmed the reports were true, his rep telling MailOnline : “Sadly the rumours are true, Gabby and Marcel have split up.
“Marcel can’t really defend his actions as he knows he did wrong and will regret it forever.
“Marcel is upset that he broke the heart of someone he loves and someone that he shared so many special moments with, but with all the good times there are difficult times, and sadly Marcel and Gabby had been in a bad place at this stage.

“Gabby was a special part of Marcel’s life, and he hopes one day she can find it in herself to forgive him.
“He knows what he did was wrong and is extremely sad about how he has hurt Gabby.”
Gabby herself addressed their explosive split by thanking fans for their support and admitting she was “in shock.”
She went on to strike up a romance with Rak-Su singer Myles Stephenson, but they dramatically split after she accused him of texting another woman.

While Marcel confessed his wrongdoing, that wasn’t the end to the drama.
He alleged that Gabby had been unfaithful during a trip to Marbella – and back home in the UK – with TOWIE star and married man Dan Osborne.
Gabby and Dan have both denied that they had an affair.
Marcel told The Sun : “A mutual friend of Dan and I told me that Gabby and Dan were having sex in Marbella on their work trip, and also when they got back to England.”

Gabby’s rep hit back: “Gabby was 100% faithful during her relationship with Marcel and finds it disappointing that he is attempting to make him feel better about his own adultery with these baseless and malicious untruths.
“She has moved on and wishes him all the best for the future.”
The alleged infidelity was thrust into the limelight once more when Dan’s wife Jacqueline Jossa headed to the Aussie jungle for an I’m A Celeb stint.
She was joined by Gabby’s ex Myles, and the two were thought to have discussed the rumoured affair.
Dan recently admitted he has cheated on Jac in the past, but steered clear of revealing who with.
