Manchester United are willing to allow Paul Pogba to join Juventus this summer – provided the Italians offer Matthijs de Ligt and money in exchange for the Frenchman.

Pogba, 27, is keen on leaving Old Trafford after being denied a move to Real Madrid last summer when his agent, Mino Raiola, made clear that the World Cup winner wanted out.

Madrid have since cooled their interest as they’re struggling to finance a deal for Pogba, who’s valued at £120m and commands wages of close to £300,000-a-week.

Juventus have similar reservations but United are in a strong negotiating position and the Daily Star claim the Red Devils will only accept a deal that includes de Ligt.

The defender was wanted by United last summer but he opted for a move to Turin instead.

However, he’s suffered a mixed campaign and was dropped at the turn of the year for Turkish defender Merih Demiral.

United, though, remain interested and they’d accept a deal that included the Dutchman as well as a fee on top.

With de Ligt valued at around £85m, Juventus would likely need to pay something in the region of £20-30m on top to see Pogba return to Italy.
