‘Who’s most likely to score a bizarre own-goal? It’s not nice to say but, Phil Jones. Phil Jones, sorry,’ Pogba told Sport Bible.

While Pogba is a popular figure among his team-mates, the Frenchman has repeatedly been linked with a transfer away from United.

Mino Raiola, Pogba’s agent, has repeatedly said his player wants to leave, with Real Madrid and Juventus reportedly interested.

United have been linked with a host of potential replacements for Pogba including Atletico Madrid’s Saul Niguez and Premier League stars Jack Grealish and James Maddison.

However, Watford star Troy Deeney has insisted United would be wrong to let Pogba leave, as they would struggled to attract better players.

‘You let him go, you’re taking a hit on the £90million you spent, you let him go for £50m, what’s coming in that’s better that Man United are attracting?

‘You lot weren’t looking at [Odion] Ighalo last year. so where’s your market, who’s your replacement?

‘You’ve got to take a hit whether it’s £75m, it’s like [Romelu] Lukaku, you let Lukaku go and then you had to go and get Ighalo.

‘Iggy has hit the ground running and always scores goals, but he isn’t Lukaku.’
