Manchester United have denied Paul Pogba is refusing to return to pre-season, according to reports.

Pogba is yet to report for pre-season and United are due to fly out to Australia for their tour ahead of their first game against Perth Glory on 13 July.

The Daily Star claim United have moved to rubbish claims Pogba is reluctant to go on the summer tour because he wants to move club this summer.

Juventus and Real Madrid are keen to sign Pogba and the Frenchman is thought to favour a return to Turin.

United do not want to part with Pogba and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is planning to speak to the midfielder when he returns to Carrington.

Pogba has been given extra time off due to his international commitments with France earlier in the summer.

United are to play five times on their pre-season tour, with games in Australia, China, Singapore and Wales.

With speculation refusing to die down about Pogba’s future, Solskjaer is keen to sign two new midfielders this summer.

Newcastle’s Sean Longstaff and Sporting Lisbon’s Bruno Fernandes are top of Solskjaer’s wishlist.

United are set to make their move for Longstaff this week, but it seems unlikely the Red Devils will be able to complete the deal before the squad travels to Australia.
