Manchester United are likely to revive their £100million move for Dortmund star Jadon Sancho if Paul Pogba is granted his wish of leaving Old Trafford this summer.

Sancho, 19, was identified early in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s tenure as a summer target with Metro.co.uk reporting in January that he was the Norwegian’s first choice.

However, United’s catastrophic end of season form looked to have ended the club’s chances of signing Sancho as they could no longer offer Champions League football.

United shelved their plans to sign Sancho, believing that their opportunity would come around again next summer.

However, Pogba has since confirmed that he would like a ‘new challenge’ and the club face a serious fight to keep the Frenchman at Old Trafford.

United have been working on a move for Aaron Wan-Bissaka and are expected to move for a midfielder once that deal is completed.

However, Forbes claim they could revive a move for Sancho if Pogba is allowed to leave the club.

United would be losing their only world class outfield player in Pogba, as well as the face of the brand.

Sancho would fill some of the void left by Pogba in a commercial sense and United could afford his £100m valuation from the sales of Pogba and Romelu Lukaku.

Lukaku is expected to join Inter Milan, though the Serie A giants are struggling to meet United’s £75m valuation.
