Manchester Pride 2019: line-up, dates, with Ariana Grande, tickets and everything else

Ariana Grande has been confirmed as the headline act for this year’s Manchester Pride Live.

The festival, which will aim to raise funds for LGBT and causes in Greater Manchester, will take place over four days and will include performances from stars including Years & Years, Bananarama and Pixie Lott. There will also be a range of DJ sets.

When is Manchester Pride?

Manchester Pride takes place from Friday 23 August to Monday 26 August.

How can I get tickets?

Tickets are available to buy now and can be bought via Ticketmaster. Tickets start from around £38.

Who is performing?

Ariana Grande is headlining this year’s event which will be held at Mayfield, an old railway depot that has been turned into a new 9,000 capacity venue.

Following the announcement, Grande took to her Twitter page to express how thrilled she was to be returning to Manchester.

She wrote: “Manchester babes, i’m so thrilled to be headlining pride. my heart. i cant wait to see u and i love u so so much.”

The gig will be the first time the singer has performed in the city since the One Love charity concert which took place in order to help those who had been affected by the terror attack at Manchester Arena after her show in 2017.

Following the announcement, Manchester Pride organiser Mark Fletcher revealed how happy he was about Grande’s return.

“We’re truly honoured to be welcoming Ariana back to the city to help us celebrate LGBT+ life,” he said in a statement.

There will be other performances from bands and singers including: Years & Years, Bananarama, Pixie Lott, Lady Leshurr, Liberty X and Saara Aalto.

The parade will take place on Saturday 24 August with thousands of supporters expected to support those who are marching through the streets of Manchester.
