Women’s Super League newcomers Manchester United have signed midfielder Hayley Ladd.

The 25-year-old has a pre-contract agreement with United and will join the Reds on a free transfer after leaving Birmingham.

Ladd, who has 29 caps for Wales and can also play in defence, began her career with Arsenal and spent two seasons with Birmingham after joining from Bristol Academy.

Philippe Coutinho not interested in Man Utd

Barcelona star Philippe Coutinho will snub Manchester United, according to reports.

The Brazilian could leave the Nou Camp this summer with several high-profile clubs interested in his signing.

That’s according to Sport who claim the midfielder is more likely to move to Paris Saint-Germain this summer.

And the Independent say a Barcelona official recently mocked United for their own transfer assault.

The person, who is unnamed, supposedly said: ““With the state they’re in, it’s not far off picking the Chinese league, career-wise. It’d be sacrificing development and ambition for money in the same way.”
