Pogba hint

Paul Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola has given Juventus fans belief that the midfielder could return to Turin.

The Frenchman expressed his eagerness for a “new challenge” last summer and Raiola has now stirred the pot on a potential exit.

“Juventus fans should dream, like those around the world, because if you don’t dream you’re dead,” Raiola told Tuttosport.

“I don’t work in dreams, but I try to make the right choices at the right time with my players to advance their career.

“Now to say that Pogba leaves Manchester United to go to Juventus to Real or Barcelona is not the right time.”

Muriqi offer

Manchester United have tabled an offer for Fenerbahce forward Vedat Muriqi, according to a report in Turkey.

Fotospor claim United have made an attempt to sign the forward, who is also said to have attracted interest from Tottenham and Burnley.

United are in the market for a striker following Marcus Rashford double stress fracture in his back, which has sidelined the England international for a couple of months.

Muriqi is enchanted by interest from England but Fenerbahce are not expected to part ways with their striker days before the transfer window closes.

Dybala explanation

Juventus star Paulo Dybala has spoken out on his failed move to Manchester United last summer.

The Argentine playmaker looked destined to arrive at Old Trafford before United pulled the plug on a deal.

“I was close to leaving,” Dybala told The Guardian. “That was in the club’s thinking, I knew. Until the last minute, we were waiting.”

“I have two years left on my contract. That’s not a short time but it’s not a long one either.

“We’ll see what plans Juventus have, if they think I might leave in the next market or if they want me to stay. That’s a decision for the club to make. It’s hard to know because things change in a second.”

Tevez advice

Manchester United have been linked with a bizarre move for Carlos Tevez this week, even though the club denied the rumours emanating from Italy.

Former United striker Dimitar Berbatov believes the club should push for the Argentine, who is currently playing at Boca Juniors.

“There have been reports linking Carlos Tevez back to United on loan, I say why not?!” Berbatov asked Betfair.

“When you have these loan deals it’s good to get someone who knows the place, knows the situation of the club and the fans.

“Of course, he went to Manchester City but I’m sure the fans would welcome him back.”

Fernandes promise

Manchester United have gone back on their word in talks to sign Bruno Fernandes.

According to Portuguese newspaper O Jogo, Sporting Lisbon expected the deal to be finalised by now.

The report in Saturday’s paper states that United’s current bid stands at £40m (€45m) plus £12.7m (€15m) in add-ons – but United vowed to increase their lump sum to £44.2m (€50m).

Sporting have received no such offer as yet, though.

Ebimbe talks

Manchester United are in talks with Paris Saint-Germain to sign young midfielder Eric-Junior Dina Ebimbe.

The 19-year-old has impressed during a loan spell at Ligue 2 side Le Havre this season.

French media outlet RMC claim United have made contact with PSG, who are ostensibly willing to let the player go for a handsome fee.

Ebimbe is due to continue his stay at Le Havre by another season if they earn promotion to the top-flight, however.

Bellingham response

Manchester United have reportedly bid £30million for Birmingham teenager Jude Bellingham.

The 16-year-old midfielder has enjoyed a breakthrough campaign in the Championship and his manager Pep Clotet was asked whether speculation has affected the player.

“Oh not at all,” the boss told talkSPORT.

“On the contrary, I see Jude is very focused on his football and on his team.

“This is his town, these are his people and this is his club. He loves this club and he’s very focused in training, he’s taken the whole situation as a professional.

“I’m delighted about that and I just hope that he keeps this mentality for the rest of this career because he’s fantastic future professional here.”
