Deeney also played down United’s chances of signing Haaland, with Dortmund reportedly demanding a fee in the area of £150million for the striker.
Watford hitman Deeney believes that with Anthony Martial also in the squad, United will need to sell players before they attempt to make a move for Haaland.
“I don’t think they’re going to go out and get a Haaland,” Deeney said.
“He’s very expensive and Kane is very expensive and they’ve still got Martial there as well. Unless they could move one or two, I don’t see how they’re going to get a huge striker.”
