Man Utd star Paul Pogba has talked with Lionel Messi and Zlatan Ibrahimovic about future

Manchester United star Paul Pogba has spoken with Lionel Messi and Zlatan Ibrahimovic about his future, according to the player’s brother.

The World Cup winner was wanted by Real Madrid during the summer transfer window but the deadline came and went with the midfielder staying at Old Trafford.

Yet Mathias Pogba claims his brother never spoke with Sergio Ramos – but has talked with Messi and Ibrahimovic.

“I know he’s spoken with a few players, but not Ramos,” he told El Chringuito TV.

“Who? Oh, Messi. Sometimes, not always. Zlatan [Ibrahimovic]. Griezmann, because of the national team.”

Mathias Pogba also admitted his sibling had talked with Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane – as well as centre-back Raphael Varane.

“I don’t know about anyone from Real Madrid. Oh, [Raphael] Varane, yes, and yes, with [Zinedine] Zidane, yes,” he added.

While Real are still hoping to sign Pogba from United, hopes of a deal have suffered a blow in recent times.

Los Blancos will have to meet the Red Devils’ huge £178million asking price with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer reluctant to give up the midfielder without a fight.

But another issue is Zinedine Zidane.

Zidane has been the one driving the club’s interest in Pogba but his future is supposedly already uncertain.

Meanwhile, speaking recently, Pogba hailed United and insisted he was committed to the cause.

“When you wear this shirt, you know that everything is possible,” Pogba said as Adidas and Manchester United created a documentary called Fabric of Football: Belief.

“And we never give up. Nothing changed, even when I went away and I just came back, it’s the same club, same mentality, same culture.

“Manchester means belief, Manchester means possible.

“Impossible doesn’t exist here.”

While Pogba has never played with Messi, he has with Ibrahimovic.

The duo were team-mates at United before the Swedish icon joined LA Galaxy in March 2018.
