Four Man Utd stars miss training ahead of Champions League clash
Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was missing four players from Tuesday’s training session ahead of their Champions League tie with Barcelona.
Nemanja Matic, Ander Herrera, Eric Bailly and Antonio Valencia were all absent from the open session at the AON Training Complex.
Alexis Sanchez, who missed five weeks with a hamstring injury, trained with the squad, but Marcus Rashford, who missed last week’s 2-1 defeat at Wolves with an ankle problem, trained alone.
Rashford did some light jogging and stretching with one of United’s physios, before joining the main group and taking part in the full squad warm up.
United take on Barcelona in the first leg of their quarter-final tie at Old Trafford on Wednesday, looking to reach the semi-finals for the first time since 2011.
