Man Utd could stop Depay to Tottenham

Tottenham are eyeing a £50m deal for former Manchester United winger Memphis Depay, however, the Red Devils could stop the transfer.

The Netherlands international has thrived at Lyon since leaving United, where he struggled to find his best form.

Depay has scored 50 times and provided 42 assists in 130 games in France and as a result, Spurs are now interested in a £50million deal to bring him back to the Premier League.

However, The Mirror say United retain a buy-back agreement with Lyon, meaning they can leapfrog Spurs in the queue if they wish to.

Wilfried Zaha bid

Manchester United are lining up a £70million bid to bring Wilfried Zaha back to Old Trafford, The Sun say.

Zaha has already had one spell with United after being signed by Sir Alex Ferguson but made just four appearances.

He eventually returned to Crystal Palace, where he has reasserted himself as the Eagles’ talisman.

Zaha almost joined Arsenal last summer but the Gunners didn’t want to meet his £80m asking price.

And The Sun say United will prepare a £70m move to bring the 26-year-old back to the club, confident that this time he is more mature and would be able to hit the ground running.

£50million deal eyed

United are keeping tabs on Andre Onana and think he could be their long-term replacement for David de Gea.

The Mirror claim United are willing to pay up to £50million for Onana, of Dutch champions Ajax.

It is even suggested the Red Devils could make a January bid for the keeper.

That’s despite De Gea recently signing a new long-term deal at Old Trafford.

Real Madrid could reportedly renew their long-standing interest in the United No 1 given persisting doubts over Thibaut Courtois.
