United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer defended the club’s newfound approach to transfer talks in his Friday press conference.
“For me, we do have a way of doing things, you can see other teams have done well,” he said.
“You can see Jurgen [Klopp] spent four years building his team [at Liverpool] and they’re doing well now.
“It’s not gonna be a quick fix, and it’s not eight or 10 players in one transfer window.
“We’ve had one proper transfer window and we are trying to do something now.”
