Man Utd have 'total agreement' for 42-goal striker, Chelsea transfer close, Arsenal linked

Ousmane Dembele price

Barcelona are prepared to take a massive hit to offload Ousmane Dembele, Marca claim.

Dembele, 22, arrived at the Nou Camp from Borussia Dortmund for an initial £95million that could potentially rise to £135.5m with add-ons.

But the France international has struggled to justify his price-tag and the Catalan giants have decided to cut their losses.

Barcelona are eager to sign Inter Milan star Lautaro Martinez or PSG superstar Neymar in the upcoming transfer window and will ask for £53m for Dembele’s signature.

Miralem Pjanic/Houssem Aouar

Juventus have identified their replacement for Miralem Pjanic.

Le10sport claim Barcelona have been involved in discussions to sign the Bosnia and Herzegovina midfielder, who also received offers from PSG and Manchester United.

Maurizio Sarri’s side are on the look-out for his replacement and have their sights on Lyon playmaker Houssem Aouar.

Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea have all been linked with Aouar in recent months but Le10sport say Juventus could ‘activate’ an approach shortly.

Juan Foyth to Barcelona

Juan Foyth doesn’t have a future with Tottenham under Jose Mourinho.

That’s according to the defender’s agent Claudio Curti amid claims Barcelona are looking to sign the Argentine international.

Spanish reports have claimed that Barcelona are monitoring the versatile defender and would even be prepared to send Samuel Umtiti in the opposite direction.

“For what has happened in recent times, we don’t think so,” Curti told talkSPORT when asked if his client had a future with Spurs. “But we still have a pending talk with Tottenham to clarify the future.

“We don’t judge the coach’s decisions and we don’t get involved in his job, but what’s clear is that the club’s project with Juan has changed.”

Philippe Coutinho latest

Chelsea are reportedly thinking about signing Philippe Coutinho this summer but could come up against Newcastle in a transfer tug-of-war.

Jadon Sancho is the most high-profile target being linked with a move to west London while the Blues are also targeting a new striker and defensive signings are expected.

But the latest reports from Spain suggest Chelsea could initially focus on out-of-favour Barcelona midfielder Coutinho as their potential first signing of the summer.

Marca claim that both the Blues and Newcastle are thinking about signing the player, who has spent the past season on loan at Bayern Munich.

Werner comments a surprise

Bayern Munich CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge is surprised by comments made by Timo Werner.

The RB Leipzig forward, 24, had been linked with the Bundesliga champions but distanced himself from speculation when declaring that he would be ‘more tempted’ by a move abroad than a move to Bayern.

“Bayern are a great club,” Werner told Bild. “I would be more tempted by a move abroad than a move to Bayern.”

And the Bayern Munich chief has now responded.

“Really, nothing amazes me anymore, but I have never seen a player make a statement like this in response to rumours in public,” Rummenigge told Bild.

Federico Chiesa transfer

Manchester United face a battle to sign Federico Chiesa in the summer transfer window after a Fiorentina chief has admitted several English clubs are knocking on the door to sign the 22-year-old winger.

Fiorentina chief Joe Barone made the admission when speaking about the future of Chiesa, whose current contract expires in June 2022.

The Red Devils are one of many clubs who are interested in the attacking talents of the Italy international with Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham also keeping tabs on the youngster.

“Chiesa is a Fiorentina player,” Barone told Italian publication Gazzetta dello Sport. “There are clubs knocking at the door for Chiesa, some of them who speak English… We’ll see.”

Cengiz Under sale

Roma are prepared to offload Cengiz Under in the upcoming transfer window.

Under, 22, arrived at Roma for around £10million from Turkish side Basaksehir in 2017 and has since scored 17 goals and provided 12 assists in 85 appearances.

However, Sky Italy claim the Roma board have decided the Turkey international is expendable and will listen to offers in the region of £21million.

Premier League trio Arsenal, Tottenham and Everton have been linked, with Bayer Leverkusen, AC Milan, and Napoli also thought to be interested.

Moussa Dembele to Manchester United

Manchester United have an agreement in place to sign Lyon forward Moussa Dembele.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants to bolster his attacking options ahead of the 2020/2021 campaign and it appears he’s been successful in landing his priority target.

Spanish website Todofichajes claim there is a ‘total agreement’ between the two parties for the Frenchman’s signature with United set to pay around £61million.

The former Fulham and Celtic forward has scored 42 goals and provided 13 assists in 88 appearances for Lyon, who do NOT have European football next season after the suspension of Ligue 1.

Angel Gomes to Chelsea

Chelsea are edging closer to signing Manchester United prospect Angel Gomes, according to reports.

The 19-year-old midfielder is out of contract at Old Trafford next month and could be set to switch to one of the Red Devils’ biggest Premier League rivals.

United are keen to keep hold of their hot prospect and are said to have tabled a new deal worth £30,000-a-week, but Gomes has rejected the offer.

And now Gomes has hired super-agent Pini Zahavi who is thought to have held talks with Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia, according to The Mirror.

Ferran Torres – no change

Ferran Torres has NOT begun contract discussions with Valencia, AS claim.

The sought-after Valencia midfielder has entered the final 12 months of his contract at the Mestalla Stadium.

Valencia have attempted to open a dialogue but no formal discussions have taken place and as things stand – Torres will be eligible to sign a pre-contract agreement with a club outside of Spain from January onwards.

Borussia Dortmund, Bayern Munich, Liverpool, Barcelona and Real Madrid have all been linked with the 20-year-old, who has an £89million release clause.
