Man Utd flop Wilfried Zaha gives Aaron Wan-Bissaka advice on how to succeed at Old Trafford

MANCHESTER UNITED ace Aaron Wan-Bissaka has revealed that former Crystal Palace team-mate Wilfried Zaha has told him to play without fear at Old Trafford.

The 21-year-old sealed a £50million switch to the Red Devils last month, where he is believed to be raking in £90,000-a-week at the Theatre of Dreams.

Wan-Bissaka got his first taste of action for his new club over the weekend when he featured against Perth Glory during the club’s pre-season tour of Australia.

And the England youth international has claimed that former United flop Zaha has given him advice on how to succeed under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

The Ivory Coast winger was Sir Alex Ferguson’s last signing before he retired in 2013, but he failed to hit the heights for United – making just two league appearances in two years before returning to Selhurst Park in 2015.

Speaking on what his ex-team-mate said to him, Wan-Bissaka told the Telegraph: “When he knew that I joined, he just told me to play without fear.

“I have come here as a new signing and he said, ‘Just play your game and do what I did last season.’

“He was happy for me. He said I deserved it and I should continue working hard and doing what I do.”

Before adding: “I try not to focus on [the pressure]. For me, it is just developing as a player and my ability to help the team going forward.”

Zaha himself is understood to be keen to leave Palace this summer as he looks to sign for boyhood club Arsenal, who have had a £40million bid rejected for his services.

It has been reported that Palace have no interest in taking any players from the North London side as part of a deal, with the 26-year-old rated at £80million.
