Manchester United are reportedly considering a move for Napoli striker Arkadiusz Milik.

Milik has scored 10 goals in just 12 games for the Serie A side this season and is understood to be valued at around £60million.

The Italian outfit are currently looking to tie the Poland international down to a new deal, but The Sun claims that the Red Devils are ready to make a move if discussions break down.

According to the publication, the Premier League club could be forced to wait until the summer to complete a move for the 25-year-old, who is under contract at the Stadio San Paolo until 2021.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is reportedly looking to bolster his options up front, with Marcus Rashford bearing most of the goalscoring burden with 12 of United’s 32 league goals this season.

The club have also relied on Anthony Martial and youngster Mason Greenwood after parting ways with both Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez over the summer.

They were understood to be interested in striker Erling Braut Haaland, but missed out on the 19-year-old as he joined Borussia Dortmund from Red Bull Salzburg.

Solskjaer has been under increasing pressure to add to his squad in January and the need for reinforcements was highlighted during Tuesday’s 3-1 defeat to Manchester City in the Carabao Cup semi-final first leg.
