Man Utd and Liverpool fans all say the same thing about Man City’s Champions League draw

Manchester United and Liverpool fans are fuming with the group that Manchester City have been dealt in the Champions League draw.

The highly-anticipated draw took place today in Monaco to determine who the likes of City, Liverpool and Chelsea would face in the group stages of the competition.

Chelsea ended up with Ajax, Lille and Valencia in their group while Liverpool were placed with Napoli, Salzburg and Genk.

City found themselves in the same group as Shakhtar Donetsk, Dinamo Zagreb and Atalanta – something which Liverpool and United fans aren’t pleased about.

One said: “Another easy draw for Man City. Rigged to f*** #UCLdraw.”

A third went with: “Man City have never had a hard group in there life, so rigged.”

Someone else tweeted: “I’m sure the champions league group stages are fixed towards City.”

Another said: “City always getting easy opponents #UCLdraw.”

This fan fumed: “Seems too much of a fluke that City get easy draws in EVERY single cup competition.”

Someone else used a more sarcastic tone, writing: “Of course Man City get the easiest draw by far.”

Another fan chimed in with: “One thing is always for sure: City gets the easiest draw.”

And finally, one said: “F**k me. Has Man City ever had a difficult Champions League draw!?”

The group stages get underway on Tuesday 17 September and concludes on Wednesday December 11.

This year’s Champions League final takes place at the Ataturk Stadium in Istanbul on May 30.
