Man Utd and Chelsea receive Jadon Sancho transfer boost with Borussia Dortmund

Manchester United and Chelsea have received a boost in their pursuit of Jadon Sancho as Borussia Dortmund appear resigned to losing their star man. The German giants are reportedly scouring for replacements which can be brought in this summer.

Sancho is expected to return to the Premier League, three years after he left Manchester City, when the transfer window reopens.

United and Chelsea are thought to be leading the race for the 19-year-old’s signature despite the nine-figure price tag on his head.

Last week Frank Lampard’s Blues confirmed Ajax midfielder Hakim Ziyech will join the club at the end of the season.

And his spending is not expected to be done there as he looks to make up for lost time after coming out of a two-window transfer ban.

Meanwhile Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be heavily backed by the Red Devils board as he attempts to bolster his attacking ranks.

Dortmund have given English clubs a boost as they have reportedly begun lining up a replacement.

According to German news outlet Deichstube, Lucien Favre’s side are hopeful of signing Werner Bremen No 7 Milot Rashica.

Bremen are keen to avoid strengthening their domestic rivals but they may not have a choice if they are relegated this term.

They currently sit 17th in the 18-team table, five points from safety.

But a failure to get that deal over the line could turn their attention to Rashica, according to Deichstube.

Meanwhile, former Liverpool ace Steve Nicol has warned Sancho about moving to Old Trafford.

“I think he’s crazy if he goes to Man United,” Nicol told ESPN FC.

“We’re talking about he’s struggling in a team that’s struggling [Dortmund] – Man United are going to be struggling for a couple of seasons, so I would stay away from there.”
