Man Utd and Chelsea blow as Borussia Dortmund make Jadon Sancho transfer decision

Manchester United and Chelsea’s hopes of luring Jadon Sancho back to England during the current transfer window look to be fading, with Borussia Dortmund convinced the player will not be leaving for now.

Sancho has had a mixed season in Germany. The 19-year-old has continued to impress on the pitch, with 12 goals and 12 assists for the Bundesliga club so far this season, but he got in trouble when he returned late from international duty, with reports his relationship with Dortmund has deteriorated.

As a result of his troubles behind the scenes, speculation has linked Sancho with a transfer this month, but according to Sky in Germany Dortmund are determined to not let one of their star players go.

They are seven points behind league leaders RB Leipzig and face a last-16 Champions League tie against PSG, and feel they would have a much better chance of excelling in both competitions with Sancho in their ranks.

However, Dortmund may find it difficult to hold onto Sancho over the summer, with the likes of Manchester City , PSG and Real Madrid also admiring the player from afar and monitoring his situation.
