65: Leicester aren’t going to die wondering. The Foxes are piling forward with Ayoze Perez and Ricardo Pereira combining nicely down the right. Harry Maguire, who’s been a rock today, is quickly over to clear the danger.

61: Leicester make a change with Ayoze Perez on for Hamza Choudhury.

58: Danger! Leicester have a free-kick just outside the Manchester United penalty area after McTominay brought down Tielemans.

James Maddison steps up… close! David de Gea rooted to the spot as the England star fizzes it just high and wide.

55: And another chances comes and goes. Juan Mata this time tests Schmeichel from distance but the Dane parries it away with McTominay fluffing the rebound.

52: Over! Daniel James shifts the ball inside in signature fashion before firing just over the bar. Looked like Schmeichel had it covered.

48: Leicester already look more dangerous. Tielamans’ cross leaves De Gea stranded and Maddison is close to getting a touch to level.

36: We’ve seen Manchester United take the lead a couple of times recently and they’ve failed to kick on. The same thing is happening right now. Any momentum they built up has evaporated. A few nerves and groans around Old Trafford.

33: Leicester have grown into things and have registered two efforts on goal but nothing to really trouble David de Gea.

30: Corner to Leicester. It’s cleared to Ben Chilwell, who absolutely slams it over the crossbar.

28: Bit of a scrap between Ndidi and James leaves the Manchester United winger on the deck. He’s fine to continue as very, very, very little happens on the pitch.

25: Leicester break with Choudhury winning the ball in midfield. He slips it to Tielemans who is inches from picking out Gray. Young slides in to make the tackle.

22: Scott McTominay knows how to endear himself to supporters. He’s flown in 100mph on Ben Chilwell and executes a great challenge. United fans on their feet applauding that one.

19: Only one other goal in the Premier League today so far. Tottenham lead Crystal Palace 2-0 thanks to Son and an own goal from Patrick van Aanholt.

16: Aaron Wan-Bissaka wins the free-kick on the right. Ashley Young elects to take it and Jonny Evans flicks it behind for a corner, which comes to nothing. Leicester have been really disappointing so far.

13: No real chances to mention since Marcus Rashford’s opener. Leicester have started the rebuilding process by keeping possession at the back and switching it from right to left.

10: Certainly a confidence booster for Manchester United. And it’s showing in their play with Leicester chasing shadows. Scott McTominay pulling the strings in midfield.

6: James Maddison, supposed transfer target for Manchester United, nearly opens the scoring after some disastrous defending. Schmeichel’s clearance bounces straight through the heart of the midfield and defence before the playmaker forces a good stop from De Gea.

5: Danger! Ricardo brings James down on the edge of the penalty area and Manchester United have themselves a free-kick in a very promising position.

Pereira steps up… Save! Schmeichel with a fantastic save to prevent a certain goal.

3: Brendan Rodgers is all smiles on the sidelines in a tidy suit. Perhaps he’s just happy to see Harry Maguire again.

Some people who aren’t particularly happy to see Maguire are the Leicester fans, who give him a chorus of boos whenever he touches the ball.

Paul Pogba has not recovered from an ankle problem while Anthony Martial and Luke Shaw are also absent.

Summer signing Aaron Wan-Bissaka is a doubt with a back injury that forced him to leave the England camp last week.

Leicester have no new injuries. Matty James remains sidelined after having surgery on his Achilles.
