Magic Gaming Partners with Full Sail University


  • The Orlando Magic’s NBA 2K League team, Magic Gaming, has partnered with the Orlando-area Full Sail University.
  • Full Sail is focused on media and technology careers, and has a collegiate esports team and new esports facility on-campus.
  • The companies will collaborate on content to appear both at Magic Gaming’s practice studio and Full Sail’s own esports facility.

NBA 2K Database-Link-e1521645463907 League team Magic Gaming Database-Link-e1521645463907 has announced a partnership with Full Sail University, a school focused on careers in the game development, media, and technology industries.

The multi-year partnership will be a collaborative one, according to the companies. Full Sail University branding will appear on the Magic Gaming digital home court used in competition, while content created by the two will appear both at Magic Gaming’s practice studio and Full Sail’s new esports facility, “The Fortress.”

Additionally, Magic Gaming and Full Sail University—which is based in Orlando suburb Winter Park, Florida, plan to host esports events around Orlando. Magic Gaming is the NBA 2K League team of the NBA’s Orlando Magic.

“In partnering with Magic Gaming, we look forward to the educational and career opportunities this will bring to our students and alumni,” said Full Sail University COO Ken Goldstone, in a release. “With the growth of our university’s esports initiatives, with professional partners and with our collegiate team, Armada, we are excited to join Magic Gaming to further elevate Orlando and our region as an esports industry leader.”

Last May, Magic Gaming hired Gabriel Causse as its partnership development manager, following an early stretch as one of the only NBA 2K League teams without any direct brand partnerships. Since then, Magic Gaming has secured a number of sponsorships with HyperX Database-Link-e1521645463907, Boxed Water, CEEK VR, AS Monaco, Orlando Health, and GT Omega Racing.
