‘The walls are going up again’: MAFS’ Mark Scrivens begs Ning Surasiang not to leave before the commitment ceremony – after Jess Power accused him of having a wandering eye
Their relationship has been rocky from the very start of Married At First Sight.
And Mark Scrivens and Ning Surasiang’s relationship was thrown into chaos earlier this week when Jessika Power suggested that the former Army officer couldn’t wait to leave the experiment so he could ‘sleep with other women’.
In a sneak peek that aired on Wednesday’s Talking Married, Mark is shown desperately trying to fix things as he pleads with his wife not to leave him ahead of the commitment ceremony.

‘I just hope you don’t base your decision on what everyone else around you is saying. We’ve worked hard to get where we are now,’ Mark said in the footage.
Ning seemed to be having second thoughts about their marriage, telling her husband that he didn’t handled the situation with Jessika very well.
‘I feel like I didn’t get the closure that I wanted from Jess. Like her apology was pathetic,’ Ning said. ‘I wish that you would have said, “Yeah I do have feelings for my wife” or something. That was the thing that pissed me off.’

‘The walls are going up again!’ Mark accused Ning of trying to find excuses to push him away
But Mark stood his ground, saying that he believed Ning was just trying to find excuses to push him away because she’s afraid of getting hurt.
‘I think you’re just trying to create barriers again because it’s starting to get serious,’ he said. ‘The walls are going up again.’
During the girls’ night earlier this week, Jessika told Ning that Mark had been telling her husband Mick Gould he wanted to sleep with other women.
Even though Jessika was only trying to deflect attention away from her own affair with Daniel Webb, the remarks nonetheless had a devastating effect.

When Mark later found out what Jessika had told his wife, he was livid.
‘She has been a constant source of drama in this entire experiment and is starting horses**t rumours about me,’ he raged during Wednesday’s episode.
‘It’s unbelievably inaccurate and almost beyond absurd. Jess is trying to sabotage other relationships.’
