MAFS’ Jessika Power is discharged from hospital and celebrates with wine and a lavish meal… after a kidney issue required a ‘high dose of antibiotics’
Married At First Sight star Jessika Power was rushed to Lake Macquarie Private Hospital in Gateshead on Monday.
And on Tuesday, Jessika confirmed she had been discharged after being diagnosed with a kidney issue requiring ‘the highest dose of antibiotics’.
‘Before this, I hadn’t been sick or on antibiotics for so long,’ she told Daily Mail Australia.

The 28-year-old also shared a photo to Instagram of herself enjoying a lavish meal after leaving hospital.
She ordered a Middle Eastern tasting plate, complete with hummus, falafel balls, pesto, halloumi cheese, crusty bread and more.
Jessika also appeared to be drinking a glass of white wine, perhaps feeling in the mood to celebrate after her health scare.
On Tuesday, Jessika told to Daily Mail Australia in a brief statement: ‘It was my kidney. I’m on the highest dose of antibiotics’

Jessika had been taken to the emergency department on Monday by her friend Kyron Dryden after complaining she was in ‘lots of pain’ and struggling to get out of bed.
After undergoing several tests, she told her Instagram followers that she most likely had appendicitis, and was hoping to get her appendix removed immediately.
She said from her hospital bed: ‘Clearly this is the best I’ve ever looked. You’re all so worried, which is so sweet. I may possibly have appendicitis.

‘I’ve been in hospital all day doing testing and things like that. I’m going to have an ultrasound too, and I’ve had problems with my appendix in the past.
‘So, I’m really not surprised. Hopefully we can figure it out and get it removed, and then I can go back to being happy Jess.’
Kyron, 26, whom Jessika briefly dated in October, remained by her side throughout.
She previously said of their friendship: ‘Fight, make up, fight, friends again – never ending story. But we’re the same person and I appreciate you in my life regardless of what the status is.’
