MAFS' Dean Wells finally breaks his silence on rumours he's dating The Bachelor's Emma Roche

Married At First Sight star Dean Wells, 41, has finally broken his silence on swirling rumours he’s dating The Bachelor‘s Emma Roche, 32. 

Dean had sent fans into a tailspin on Wednesday by uploading a snap of the couple looking cosy on the red carpet, but waited until Thursday night to finally clear things up on Instagram.  

After his former MAFS co-star Melissa Walsh congratulated him on his ‘new romance’, Dean responded in a coment: ‘ha thanks Mel. Emma and I are just good friends btw!’

‘Not sure why everyone thinks were dating or whatever. All I said was that its great that I know her. Shes an awesome human!’ he added.  

Apologising for the assumption, Mel replied: ‘Sorry I was also one to jump on the ‘love’ bandwagon!! I had a feeling it might have been a bit hasty lol. Anyhow that’s reality TV for you haha.’ 

She added: ‘Hope you’re well and happy regardless of your relationship status . Be great to catch up soon,’, to which Dean responded: ‘Ha thats ok. You know me Mel. Never rush into anything.’ 

Thanks for clearing that up! After his former MAFS co-star Melissa Walsh congratulated him on his ‘new romance’, Dean responded in a coment: ‘ha thanks Mel. Emma and I are just good friends btw!’

However, one fan wasn’t completely convinced of Dean’s so-called ‘surprise’ at being linked to Emma.   

‘I’d guess it’s probably the extremely intimate pose,’ the suspicious fan wrote. 

‘She had something caught in her throat. I was giving her the Heimlich maneuver,’ Dean bizarrely responded.

A day earlier, Dean sent fans wild by sharing a photo of himself at a wine brand event with Emma on his arm. 

‘If anything good ever came of reality TV its meeting this amazing human and sharing a glass of wine,’ he cryptically captioned the post. 

Dean rose to fame after failing to find love with his match Tracey Jewel on MAFS and plotting an ‘affair’ with his co-star. 

Meanwhile, Emma made it to the top four before she was eliminated in the most recent season of The Bachelor.

She was known as a ‘stage-five clinger’ after becoming the first contestant to drop the L-bomb.
