MAFS' Davina Rankin calls Charlotte Crosby her 'best friend' in a resurfaced video

Charlotte Crosby’s jungle romance with MAFS’ Ryan Gallagher on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! has been making headlines over the past two weeks.

And in an unexpected twist, it seems the former Geordie Shore star already knows Ryan’s cheating ex-‘wife’, Davina Rankin.

Footage has resurfaced of Davina interviewing Charlotte, 29, in 2014 during a meet-and-greet event at the Pacific Fair shopping mall on the Gold Coast.

In the video, Davina introduced herself and Charlotte before asking the English reality star: ‘What do you like best about Australia?’

‘It’s so laid back and the atmosphere is so chilled out and it’s so hot… but I’ve got my own show now,’ she replied.

After talking about her show, Davina thanked Charlotte for meeting her Australian fans at Pacific Fair.

‘Thank you so much for coming to visit us. And thank you so much, Charlotte, for being so awesome. I think I love this girl. Best friends!’ she added.

The footage has emerged while Charlotte and Davina’s ‘ex-husband’ Ryan Gallagher have struck up a romance on I’m A Celebrity.  

Upon her arrival in the jungle, Charlotte admitted she had exchanged flirty messages with Ryan on social media several weeks earlier. 

After growing closer in the camp, the pair shared a kiss last week before cuddling up together in Ryan’s bed.

On Tuesday, Ryan told Charlotte and co-star Miguel Maestre about his experience on Married At First Sight. 

While discussing his honeymoon with Davina Rankin, the comedian said that his ex-‘wife’ had warned him she was going to be unfaithful in the experiment.

‘We were on the honeymoon, and we were intimate and stuff like that. You sort of get lost in the moment,’ he began.

‘And as we were flying back, as we were landing, [Davina] goes, “You know, when we get back we meet other people and you can hook up with anyone.”

Ryan went on to explain that Davina eventually cheated on him with another groom, Dean Wells, before the affair was exposed at a commitment ceremony.
