Lululemon Is Launching A Self-Care Beauty Line

We already love the Wunder Under leggings and proudly tote the yoga mats under our arms as if they were a Fendi baguette; and now, Lululemon is branching out to the world of beauty.

In a blog post on its website, the Vancouver-based brand announced the launch of Selfcare, an edited capsule collection of products for those who aren’t afraid to work up a sweat.

“Sweat once a day to regenerate your skin and mind. It’s something we’ve believed in for over 20 years and continues to be one of our guiding principles as we empower others to do the same,” said the brand in the blog post.

“Over the years, we’ve heard from athletes, ambassadors, and our community that the transition from sweat into daily life requires some specific solutions.”

To that end, the collection comprises of Basic Balm for lips, with organic beeswax, jojoba and coconut oil, Sweat Reset Face Moisturizer with a sweat-wicking polymer and a menthol-like ingredient to cool, No Show Dry Shampoo which uses tapioca starch to mop up oil without leaving residue.

There’s also the Anti Stink Deodorant, which is aluminium-free, instead using zinc and witch hazel to keep you smelling fresh.

With the cruelty-free Leaping Bunny logo stamped on all the packaging and the straightforward, natural extracts powering the formulas, the line is right in line with Lululemon’s clean-living ethos.

There are no prices stated just yet, or a release date other than “late spring”, so watch this space.
