Bruno Fernandes has changed the attitude inside the Manchester United dressing room.
That’s according to his Red Devils team-mate Luke Shaw, who has confirmed what pundits have already been saying about the Portugal international.
“He’s been amazing for us,” explained Shaw. “The maddest thing is he hasn’t actually been there that long but what he’s brought in and the quality he has – of course on the pitch – but inside the dressing room as well. He’s a leader for us too.”
United signed Fernandes from Sporting Lisbon in the January transfer window, and the 25-year-old hit the ground running at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils have won six of the nine games Fernandes has featured in since his £47million switch, drawing the other three.

The midfielder’s impact hasn’t gone unnoticed, with former Arsenal star Emmanuel Petit telling Mirror Football: “Fernandes has made a huge impact.
“In the space of two months he is the best buy in the winter market. He has made such a big impact. It’s like he’s been at the club for six years.
“He’s changed the mentality inside the dressing room. It’s hard for a player to come in mid-season and do that.
“Paul Pogba was meant to be doing this at Manchester United. It’s what he should have done in terms of leadership on the pitch.
“But I’m looking forward to seeing them together on the pitch, I want to see if that can work, and I’m pretty sure it can work.”

Former United star Bryan Robson echoed this sentiment, that Fernandes has influenced the dressing room in a positive way.
He told talkSPORT: “[Bruno looks] a special player. He’s got a fantastic attitude. I’ve met him a few times, I’ve seen him at the training ground.
“He mixes really well with the lads and you can see why he was captain of Sporting.”
