Luke Evans has decided to make the most of his time while he self-isolates – by dying his hair pink of course.

And it’s fair to say he pulls it off pretty well if you ask us.

The actor is currently self-isolating in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic alongside his boyfriend Rafael Olarra, who he went Instagram official with in February, in sunny Florida – and he wasn’t one to shy away from showing off his new locks to his Instagram followers.

And sipping coconut juice while at it.

Taking to Instagram, Luke shared a video of him enjoying quarantine life as he squeezed a coconut into a glass to get his drink.

‘There’s a lot of liquid in there, it’s unbelievable,’ he exclaimed.

It seems plenty of his fans were very impressed with his new hair colour, with one commenting: ‘You look good with pink hair!’

Another added: ‘Happy to see that you are well and btw I loooove your pink hair.’

‘Love the pink!’ another wrote. ‘It’s my favourite colour to dye my hair.’

It comes after he had previously praised his local hospital for saving his father’s hand after he suffered a nasty accident involving a circular saw.

He took to social media to thank the NHS for their efforts while they worked long hours to make sure his father’s hand was reconstructed after the accident.

In a video shared to his Instagram, the 40-year-old explained: ‘Three days ago, my dad had an accident in his garden chopping, slicing wood on a circular saw. It was bad, he sliced his hand open, it was a terrible accident. He almost lost his fingers.

‘We took him to our local hospital, one of our local hospitals in Swansea, the Morriston Hospital.’

He later hailed the surgeon who performed five hours of microsurgery on his dad’s hand ‘one of the most incredible people I’ve ever met’.

‘My dad wouldn’t have survived well without his hands and you’ve saved them,’ Luke later added, as he referenced the long hours that NHS staff work.

‘I’m very proud to have experienced that firsthand and see how brilliant you are.’
