Nintendo has released the first gameplay trailer for Luigi’s Mansion 3, featuring co-op, multiplayer and a new spooky location.

During Nintendo’s E3 Direct, the company released the first look at gameplay from the title, along with some new vacuum skills.

Luigi’s Mansion 3 will take place in one enormous hotel, and will also feature co-op via Gooigi who featured in the 3DS remake of the original.

There was also a number of new mechanics for Luigi’s new Poltergust G-00, including slamming ghosts on the ground to cause extra damage, a suction shot to destroy furniture, and a burst to clear away enemies.

There’s also the return of multiplayer in ScareScraper, where 2-8 players join up locally or online to clear out rooms in the hotel and find misplaced Toads.

During Nintendo’s Treehouse event following the Direct, they showed a spectacular boss fight from the game where a ghost sports a Godzilla-like costume in a replica of city.

Luigi’s Mansion 3 releases in 2019 on Nintendo Switch.
