Lucy Verasamy: 'Wait and see' ITV weather presenter hits back after fans query her post

Good Morning Britain and ITV star Lucy Verasamy, 38, told fans to expect high temperatures across the country today, but not everyone was convinced. In view of her 161,000 Twitter followers, she began: “Roasty toasty Saturday! “A one day wonder as we have a surge of heat from Europe. Suncream & bbqs ready?! Sizzle sizzle!” Lucy’s tweet prompted many of her fans to query her predictions.

One user commented: “But it’s showing rain for Wrexham tonight.”

A second wrote: “Very cloudy up here in Durham.”

A third penned: “Not in Scotland dull and humid.”

Lucy swiftly responded to her Twitter fans, reassuring them temperatures will improve.

“For those saying nah-ah. It’s not even 10.30am yet. Wait and see,” she replied.

Yesterday, Lucy informed her followers about “record-breaking” weather in France.

The brunette beauty shared a weather map of the high temperatures across the country, writing: “Yesterday France had its hottest day ever: nearly 46C (usually record breaking heat occurs later in the summer).”

She added forecasters are “lost for words” as she described the weather as “weird”.

Elsewhere, Lucy put on a jaw-dropping display in a rare outing at a charity event earlier this month.

The brunette beauty stunned in a black dress which clung on to her sensational physique.

Lucy’s glamorous look also gave her social media fans a glimpse of her cleavage.

She shared the picture with her 106,000 followers, writing: “Sparkling night for @boodlesboxingball a huge success raising funds for @hopeandhomesforchildren giving orphans a loving family founded & hosted @natalie_pinkham bravo #boodlesboxing2019 #fightingforfamilies.”

Lucy’s jaw-dropping appearance prompted many of her fans to compliment the star.

A third penned: “Lucy you look stunning. Sunshine on a rainy day.”
