And with tensions rising, Bethany soon realises Daniel isn’t over his wife Sinead (Katie McFlynn) who died of terminal cancer before Christmas.
Fans will have to wait and see as to what she chooses to do, but Lucy confessed she was pleased with the upcoming scenes.
Glad she hadn’t been killed off, Lucy hoped the door for a potential return would be left open.
“My future’s uncertain but this not to say I won’t do Corrie again. Its been a big chunk of my life and I feel like a completely different person.”
